Vijaypur, a tiny Himalayan village, located between Bageshwar and Chaukori is known to only a few travellers. Situated at an altitude of 6750 feet, this sleepy hamlet rests on a ridge overlooking the magnificent Himalayan range. On a clear day the place offers one of the most breathtaking views of the entire range from Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot to Panchachuli.
Chestnut Grove Himalayan Lodge is located in the small hamlet of Vijaypur near Chaukori Uttarakhand. The lodge had a cluster of 6 aesthetically made huts/cottages made of bamboo wood and stone. The place overlooks the Reema valley and gives panoramic view of the Himalayan Peaks – Mt. Trishul, Nandadevi peaks, Nandakulichot, Panchuchulli.
